About Letty
Hi, I’m Letty – birth doula, hypnobirthing instructor, antenatal teacher and breastfeeding counsellor. But I didn’t always work in the birth world…
Back when I was pregnant with my first baby in 2013, I knew almost nothing about labour and birth. My sister and I were expecting at the same time (she was due 3 months before me), and while she took a birth prep course, I did absolutely nothing.
I figured birth was something women just did – and honestly, I didn’t want to spend the money!
Then she invited me to be at her birth as her second partner. I thought, “Sure, why not?”

“I need to do something – and fast.”
But it ended up being four incredibly intense days, filled with medical intervention, and really tough on her, her partner – and me. As I watched her lying in bed afterwards, she looked like she had been in a brutal battle. I left the hospital in shock, thinking, “I need to do something – and fast.”
At 33 weeks pregnant, I signed up for a hypnobirthing course. I threw myself into it, and when my baby, Quinn, was born, I had a calm, empowering birth experience that changed my entire outlook.
So much so, I completely changed my career whilst on maternity leave!
Since then, I’ve supported hundreds of families through all kinds of births and feeding journeys…
…at home, in hospital, in water, with twins, after loss, via caesarean, VBAC, HBAC, breech, induction and everything in between. I’ve also supported my sister again – this time at her twin birth – which was so calm and positive the hospital staff asked if they could come in and watch! Literally two ends of the scale for her!
These experiences shaped me. I left my job in event management and followed my passion into birth work, supporting parents to feel informed, confident, and truly held through this huge life transition.

Today I offer:
Birth and postnatal doula support
Antenatal workshops

Breastfeeding support
Whether you’re looking for reassurance, guidance, or someone to walk beside you during birth—I’m here. I’ve been where you are, and I believe you deserve a birth experience that feels calm, supported, and entirely your own.
